Hi, welcome to my blog! So today i'm gonna share with you about the first dress made by me. This is actually not my very first dress, but this is an official dress for my fashion show from Burgo Milano in milan, italy (july 2014). I made this dress for about 2,5 months. This take so long because first i didn't only make this when i was there, and second because i was not that good at making dress haha (still learn). Hmm, just go to the point, okay hihi. So why i made this design is simply because i like something cheerful, colorful. But even if it's colorful i still have to keep it looks elegance, because i don't really like too much color on something. I choose to have only 2 colors and the important is not too much ornaments on it. Just make something as simple as you can, but would still looks classy. This is suitable for you who wants to looks classy and elegance but wanna be attention, wherever you are. Next, we look closer to the detail..  Can you see? I only put a little ornament in the waist part. This is to make the dress looks complementary to the bottom ornament (you can see in the full picture).  See that? The bottom part has full ornament that's why i put in the waist just a little piece. If i didn't give it a little, it would looks empty and heavy. By the way, i wanna tell you that there's something annoying happened during the dress making process. I didn't get the fabric i want for the ornament in jakarta, actually i got but i thought maybe in milan there would be the best. Then i searched and searched and got this damn cool fabric i was looking for called prada fabric, yeahh. Then when i wanna took it as mine, the seller told me it was 50 euro/m. Hmm, whatttttt? okay because i didn't have much time i was sure to buy it. Do you know??? in Jakarta it's only 20 euro or about IDR 300,000. So, jakarta is still best place to have good fabric, LOL.
